I have put away all of my art supplies for a while, as I am feeling an urgent need to give myself a much needed break from all the thinking that goes along with all the creative doing! I have to put everything completely out of sight so that I am not stimulated out of habit, to do something. Every artist goes through this phase from time to time and knows it is a necessary one, so that we can replenish our inspiration wells.
I never know how long it will take me to feel creative again…..I have learned just to let myself be. I call this retreat from creativity, “my dream time.” In dream time, I become highly observant, reflective and enjoyably free. I spend more time thinking about and appreciating my blessings of family and friend relationships, and the beauty I see in them, and in the world wide view around me. In dream time, observation and contemplation, replenish my creative spirit.
IN DREAM TIME, I SEE BEAUTY EVERYWHERE……………………

YES, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL…………….. AND WONDER…. FULL!!

The latest art doll sculpture I have completed is named, “Dream Catcher“. This sculpture is my way of bringing into detailed form, the elements of dreaming good dreams, holding on to them, and never letting go until they come into being.

My very favourite song is “Imagine” by John Lennon…..when he sings….
“You may say I am a dreamer,
But I’m not the only one.
I hope someday you’ll join us
and the world will be as one.”
Can we dream this kind of dream together? Just imagine what could happen!
