OUR LITTLE BOLER
It is EARLY JUNE and I am feeling so inspired …..creative juices are flowing once again, such that, it seems a bother and a “waste of time” to have to go to sleep at night! Hands and mind are busy dreaming up designs for refurbishing a sweet little Boler that we just bought. Oh boy, it needs a lot of work both inside and out!
When it is done (and it may take a few months), I will post before and after pictures. My INSPIRATION for decorating the inside of the little trailer comes from Magnolia Pearl’s fabulous airstream.
Well, I know it is over the top with texture and fabric, and it is doubtful that I will be able to do that in a little 13 foot Boler! However, I want to try capturing the “feel” of it as best I can, with what limited access I have to that kind of sumptuous fabric embellishment. I am inspired by Magnolia Pearl’s creativity….it is both feminine and rustic, in an elegant free spirited sort of way.
SO PLEASE STAY TUNED….for OUR little Boler trailer, that will soon be transformed from a pitifully neglected and delapitated trailer, into a lush little Boler named the “GYPSY QUEEN”! Her debut will be sometime late September, this year……and I can hardly wait to get started! I think my hubby and I are in for quite an undertaking!

IT’S ABOUT ELEGANCE
Ever since the excellent series “Downton Abbey” hooked my attention, I have fallen more in love with that era of elegance, gracefulness and refinement. It saddens me a little, that the world seems to have changed so much, and that it seems harder to find the people, places or things that embody grace, manners, courtesy and elegance, quite like that time in history did.
However, I don’t think elegance is lost. It can be seen in some people who are just born with that quality….(you recognize it when you see them or if you know them). And in the world, there are other people who create elegance through fashion, architecture, and design. But definitely, elegance lives in all of Nature….it lives quietly, unassumingly, and is always there for us to notice and appreciate.

CREATING A LITTLE MAGIC
I am attracted to and awed by all things wild and wonderful! I think my art work embodies this love of enchantment and magical wonder, through an eclectic variety of art, doll sculpture, crystal orbs, and glass spirit vessels and other things I love to create. This week I have had fun, making beautiful magic wands!
The wands are made from driftwood, beach glass, crystals, glass tiles, beads and other found embellishments. The seem to hold such powers of intention!
