I love these days of January, when I can spend time contemplating what to do, creatively speaking, that is. As an artist and devout introvert, I must remind myself from time to time, that it is absolutely okay for me to “live in my head” for a few weeks, letting ideas percolate and get intricately woven together with wishful inspiration. I am hopeful that eventually something will click within me and the process of putting paint to paper or fabric into form will begin once again.
(A PERFECT QUOTE ABOUT ART AND AN INTROVERT!)
Helpful to me in this process, is looking at inspirational images I find on the internet. I drown myself in pattern, color and subject matter on Pinterest until I am saturated with visuals!
